Eclectic Voices is a newly formed alliance of writers at the Eclectic Company Theatre. Together we build a safe and trusted space for our members to bring works in progress for feedback and development. We focus on playwriting and screenwriting, but many of our members are prose and poetry writers as well.
We hope to produce regular public readings, late night presentations and hopefully some full length productions of original works by our members.
We are always looking for new members, support and fresh ideas! Get involved and get your voice heard today!

How cool is this???
Anyway, I started writing the piece for the holiday show. mwahahahahaha
Chelsea, how cool are you? Let me count the ways. On second thought let’s not. It’s too big of a number.
You really do ROCK, Chelsea! I’m not familiar with blogging at all, but it seems like such a natural for a writing group!!
Aloha! from the most hawaiian part of my part of Los Angeles.
is that a word?…Hawaiian….That doesn’t look right but I’m gonna keep it like that anyway.
Cool. I used to have a blog, but it died.
I’ve started two holiday plays! Quite different in theme, except for the holiday part. I will host a death match to see which one wins. And one of these times, I might actually make it to a meeting….
Chelsea, I have long admired bloggers, even tried my hand at a couple on myspace. One was about aliens actually being us from the future, another comparing celebrity to a rotting corpse of a sheep i once found in the woods.
But honestly, they were nothing compared to the inspired journal like blogs of my friends who are real…well…bloggers.
But now- what a gift! I mean sure… we can do logistics here… but since my life is so consumed with logistics, perhaps you have created a little haven for me to just say a little something something about the nothing and everything to you all.
Who knows.
Maybe it’ll inspire me to actually write some shit for the show, too. Is it too late? Are there parameters….?
(i.e., no aliens or sheep corpses?)
and i vote for Chelsea as most like the eleven princess who saves Frodo from the wraiths!
eleven princess? as in …most princesses go to ten but…”ours goes to eleven”?
I think she meant “elven.” I was confused too.
Yeah…. i know…. I was making a joke…Spinal Tap, yo;)
Oh…sorry, not familiar. Make references to things I know and maybe I’ll look less like an idiot. I could use as much help in that respect as I can get.
as you command.
I love this! I think the writing party is a great idea (yes, it’s SO right to just sit down and write with people!
I will try and make it!
What I meant is Chelsea is cooler than Eleven Elven Princesses and always takes it to that extra “these go to eleven” level of rock.
Does anyone know what the TBA info is for the meeting tonight?…
Chelsea…I beleive this gives us a movie to watch on Sunday if Serenity hasn’t arrived…
Oh…jesus…. I was just getting used to the old format. Couldn’t help yourself could ya?
I would like to add that I have since introduced Chelsea to the Spinal Tap. You may now commence with jokes that go to Eleven.
I thought you said this site wasn’t active anymore?
It’s back!
